  1. Using your GPS? Type in this address: 5951 East 2580 South, Kanab, Utah 84741
  2. On US 89 westbound, look for the signed intersection for Mountain View Drive immediately after milepost 58.
  3. Turn left at the intersection for Mountain View Drive.

You can also access the campground via Utah. 

FROM KANAB, UTAH

  1. Using your GPS? Type in this address: 5951 East 2580 South, Kanab, Utah 84741
  2. On US 89 eastbound go 5.6 miles from the stoplight at the intersection of US 89 and US 89A in Kanab.
  3. Turn right at the first signed intersection after you leave Kanab, the intersection indicates Mountain View Drive to the right.

As a tour operator, Southwest Adventure Tours provides Southwest USA tours for individuals and groups, focusing on scenic, photography, and adventure trips.

Wih a specialty focus on small group experiences, usually between 14 and 25 passengers, Southwest Adventure Tours offers a wide range of multi day tours and day tours from Las Vegas, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, and other local areas adjacent to the National Parks.

1/2 Day Fishing Charter 1 to 2 Anglers
Full Day 8 hours (30 miles radius) for “inshore” – 1 to 2 Anglers
Extended Fishing Charter (50 miles radius) – 1 to 2 Anglers

Houseboat camping trips: 14 days with a 2 day minimum

New for 2020, these experiences are for those who want to fish and sightsee. Prices vary based on desired trip. Call for details.


Fall & Winter Rates for 2019 – 2020

  • 1-2 Anglers 1/2 Day $475.00 additional anglers $50 (drinks included – ice & cooler for food provided)
  • 1-2 Anglers Full day $700.00 additional anglers $50 (8 hours (drinks included – no lunch)(ice and cooler for your food items provided.
  • 6 Hour Special 1-2 Anglers $600 additional anglers $50 (drinks included – cooler & ice NEW 10-2019
  • New for 2019 – Lake Powell Experience Options -Because not everyone wants just a fishing trip, for some families we can provide a trip of fishing, fantastic sight seeing the deep interior with mesa’s over 7,000 ft and swimming too.
  • Rates:  1-2 Anglers $750 additional anglers $50.
  • A surcharge for fuel may apply but will be discussed prior with your guide to the trip.  This may be due to conditions for fishing to provide a quality trip for the angler.

Lunches are not provided, but water is always on board – BYOD (drinks).  Please note maximum 2 beers per person on board. No exceptions..

Ambassador Guides & Outfitters ‘Lake Powell Striper Fishing’ is wheel chair accessible. Please discuss your needs prior to the trip with your guide.

We now have 24 hr day rates on extended houseboat or camping trips.  Our fees are $900 per day plus food and lodging, fuel & bait.  This includes Charter Captain licensed with USCG and AZ Game & fish, fishing boat, all tackle for the trip up to 14 days with a 2 day minimum.
